About Title Case

Title case capitalizes the first letter of each major word in a title or heading. This includes:

  • Nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, and subordinate conjunctions
  • Both the first and last words of the title

Small words like articles (a, an, the), coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or), and short prepositions (in, on, at) are typically lowercase unless they're the first or last word.
